So I upgraded to Ubuntu 7.10 Beta last night. The upgrade went very smooth, nothing went terribly wrong. Besides having the latest and the greatest, one of the things I was looking forward to is the dazzling eye candy found in the lastest compiz fusion. And holy hell is there lots of eye candy. The setting manager was really over whelming. There's so much to play with. From the wobbly windows to the mirror effect application switcher. And I really want another monitor so I can play with the multiple desktops and the cube effects.
