What happened with the free exchange of information? I was provoked to think about this an article in the latest 2600 magazine. What happened to the text philes? People are afraid to say things anymore. There's no sharing of info, theories. No ones experiments anymore. There's an apparent lockdown on freedom here. Forums have to moderated because they're worried about saving face and preventing lawsuits. And legal troubles are keeping many people in the shadows with their information. Something's wrong here. It's the so-called age of information and I'm seeing that stream of knowledge drying up.
