This Is Why Swedish Pirates Rock


The Pirate Bay has always given a big "fuck you" to the MPAA, and rightly so. Swedish copyright law says the site they're running is perfectly legal. Hosting torrents that merely point to content is breaking no copyright laws.

It's perfectly summed up by this quote from one of the operators of the site: "We see it as our duty to spread culture and media. Technology is just a means to doing that."

Check them out at thepiratebay.org and go get some free music and movies. Don't forget to read the threatening letters from lawyers and their responses.
