About This Blog

Often when I introduce a person to my blog, or they see the name of it for the first time, they are a bit bewildered at the title. Sure, it brings up images of suicide, killing, or murder. Or perhaps you think I am severely depressed. Maybe I have some weird obsessions. Such is not the case.

Think about this: Why do folks commit suicide? The main reason, it could be argued, is they would like to escape from a particular thing in the living world that ails them. Could be depression, could be sickness, could be fear of jail, lack of will, or any number of different things. But the fact is they no longer wish to deal with such undesirable things in life. Here's where the genius comes in: That's what this blog is all about. Escape the worst parts of life. Let your imagination rule. Hypothetical situations. Amusing anecdotes. I get to say things I would never say in real life. Things I would not bring up in real life.

A lot of people read this, and it's important that people know who I really am. Those of you that know me in real life know one side of me. Here you see the other side. Those of you that do not know me, imagine a slightly more friendly version of what you see here.

Truth is, I could care less about what people think. I stopped caring a long, long time ago. More than a few times, I came to the logical conclusion that suicide is reserved for the mentally retarded (Hunter S Thompson) and whiny pussies (Kurt Cobain). I do not fit into either of these categories. Therefore, this, the blog you are reading, is my suicide. It is my escape, it is my afterlife. And I kill myself everyday.

I will try to keep the posts relevant to life. To everyone's life. The point is to teach you a thing or two, to give some humor along the way, and hopefully start shaping a culture. There is so much to life, and far too many people position themselves where they will never experience half of what they could. I'm here to tell you where you went wrong.
