Oh yes. I severly underestimated freaks and their money.
Two weeks ago, I saw the leaked add for Circuit City and their Black Friday sale for the SD600 for $199. Sure, I need a new camera and my family was willing to help me out on behalf of my birthday. Doors open at 5am today, so I got my ass up early. I arrived there at quarter till 5. Now Ciruit City is in a strip mall. If you're facing it, to its left is Marshall's, World Market, I think another store, and 4 doors down, Old Navy. The line of people was down to Old Navy... There must've been a thousand people there, no lie. What is wrong with you people?!? Don't you work? Don't you like to sleep in if you have the day off? Just for a lousy $40 bucks off a camera?
Well, I said "eff that" and cruised by Best Buy, where the insanity was the same, just in a smaller parking lot. Now I truely understand why I hate retail. It's the downfall of any man. And I fell.
Then I went to WalMart and paid $249 for the SD600. But it's mine now. I could have gotten it anyday of the year for that price. But no. I had to experience the Black Friday. It's one of those things I would encourage everyone to do at least once, like anal. It might not be for you, but at least you know what all the hellaballoo is all about.

You should have gone back to Circuit City and paid less. They were out of stock on my memory card, but they had all the black friday sales online as well. You didn't even have to leave home.
I stayed home and stabbed by testicles with a rusty fork. Same effect.
