You know, I think Carrie is the only other person I've known that liked Ann Coulter as much as I do. Everyone else hates Ms. Coulter with a passion. I doubt Carrie will read this, but just in case, here ya go:

b) I should examine why I can recognize a Hitler quote from that of an unknown.

I don't hate her. I rarely agree with her, but at LEAST she has a couple of brain cells to rub together.
Ann Coulter is the Bomb. Since the left can't doesn't control all Media any more they can't use arguments that include facts anymore. There are too many people to question their version of reality. This is why they think FOX news is controlled by the Nazi's.
Their one hope was that they could parade out these people who have lost something to spout their talking points so that they would have a spokesmen that could not be questioned on account that you should feel sorry for them and if you question them you are some kind of monster. Well Ann did question them on the merits of their argument and on the apparent lively hood and fame they are gaining from their infallibility in grief.
And she is willing to take all of the slings and arrows that go a long with it because they are helping her sell books and because apparently she must have some amount of personal courage.
How many death threats do you think she gets a month? 10 or better I would guess. The MSM has pretty much given all of the freaks out there free rein to hate her and called her a Nazi as evidence by the quiz. It's part of public discourse now that we have to make sure people know the difference between Coulter and Hitler.
There are many who have sworn to assault her if they saw her in public no doubt. If they could muster the courage.
So I am glad she is successful with her book because she is actually incurring some restriction on her personal freedom in order to write her books. I don't think she could go shop in a grocery store with out some armed guards. She might as well have had a Fatwa issued on her from Howard Dean.
I gave the book to my parents and it is really quite funny. They have both called me to thank me for getting it for them.
I know I am not really friends with you guys in real life so I hope that you don't take this little rant in the wrong way. I just really recommend the book Godless highly.
