First Post Of The Year

Well, my first post in the grand year of 2005. This won't be too long, only a few things I have to say.

I'm happy to have a new job. The illustrious Home Depot is my employer and I hope to be with them for a while. I start training on Wednesday. Come see me, new store, South & Woodlawn. Right across from the Waffle House.

Printed out some of my Vegas pictures today. Damn, it took me a long time, didn't it? Yeah, I know I'm lazy. I hope Carrie enjoys the mini-album I gave her. I still want to get the rest of them printed out, but that's more money than I have at this moment. I was doing some thinking: I hope to take pictures every day this year and organize them by day and event, etc. At the end of the year, of course, save them to cds, archives, whatnot. But, it would be unendingly cool to have them all printed out, nice glossy 4x6's. So I did some math. 365 days, times an average of 15 pictures per day, times $0.29 per print comes out to be $1587.75!! That's a lotta bucks for some memories, perhaps it could happen, most likely the prints will number a bit less than 5000.

Ebay sales: I hope to make some money this year. With some start-up capital from my new full-time job, plus some added incentive of a fresh new-year start, I hope to make some new sales records for myself. I will be documenting every sale in a journal. Item, price, who purchased it, where it shipped too, etc. Should make a nice addition to my library.

And my livejournal... I resolve to post here every day at least once. To share information about my life and commentary on events. And, at the end of the year, print it all out to put in a nice 3-ring binder. Sweet, I love this kind of stuff. Like I love going to Staples and checking out all the cool office supplies. Binders, and fax machines, and pens, sticky notes....sweetness.
